Flower Care Information

Flowers are usually the first and last thing seen when you visit a community. A beautiful entrance can leave a lasting impression. Our company specializes in annual, perennial, container gardening and their maintenance.  This is a special area of landscaping more commonly referred to as a landscape beatification or gardening.  We work in conjunction with landscape maintenance companies.  Most landscaping companies do not have the time or know how to tend the needs of flowers. The gardens will not bloom if not fed.  The gardens will not grow if not watered.  The gardens will not flourish if allowed to be covered with bugs or rot from fungus. A good garden like a good landscape requires the attention and care of a professional on a regular basis.  After all, flowers are a big investment. They can leave a lasting impression to the on looker, so why wouldn’t you want it to look its best all the time.

When we maintain the gardens and pots the following items are done as necessary.  Usually we visit on a weekly basis and we bill monthly. We stop maintenance usually a week or two prior to the gardens seasonal change and restart the 2nd week after installation.  We do not tie you to a yearly contract. However, we need a two week written notice if you choose to discontinue service. In most cases we do the same things that your landscapers are already getting paid for but are unable, unwilling or unknowledgeable in how to do them. This is what is provided in our service:

  • weed the flower beds

  • feed the beds at least 1x and pots 2x a month with liquid fertilizer

  • check and treat bugs and fungus

  • deadhead to promote flowering

  • deerspray in areas where needed(HUGELY important on Daniel Island)

  • make watering recommendations to current landscaper if there information is provided to us

  • keep the plantings where they belong…. off the grass, below the signs, around the lights ect
